Located in the Cambridge area, I am an aspiring Junior Data Analyst with over 14 years’ experience working in analytical chemistry for leading manufacturers of drug-delivery devices, suppliers to the pharmaceutical industry and the Environmental Sector, ranging from routine release testing in a regulatory environment to new method development and validation.
I am highly adept in the use of Microsoft Office, with a particular interest in using Microsoft Excel for a wide range of applications, including data handling and analysis. I am currently using my transferrable skills and having recently completed a level 3 data analytic essential skills bootcamp, am furthering my knowledge in Microsoft Power BI and Python programming for data analysis.

My main areas of expertise include using Microsoft Excel for data analysis, including the following tools:
- Pivot Tables
- Macros and VBA
- Power Pivot and Data Modelling
- Pivot Charts
- Dashboards
Having recently completed a level 3 data analytic essential skills bootcamp, I am currently working to enhance my skills Microsoft Power BI and Python programming for data analysis.

I have a BSc (Hons) in Zoology, an HNC in Chemistry, and over 14 years’ experience working in the field of analytical chemistry for leading manufacturers of drug-delivery devices, suppliers to the pharmaceutical industry and the Environmental Sector.
During this time, I have always found the data-handling side of my roles the most interesting, and previous work has involved setting up databases and data-handling systems in Microsoft Excel, including writing validation protocols, performing validations and producing reports in order to satisfy regulatory requirements. Such electronic systems can help with improved accuracy and process efficiency within an organisation.

As someone who loves to travel, I began an online travel blog some years ago and since then, people have asked me the question “can you help me set up a website?”
And so, through self training, from the earlier days of building sites in an HTML editor to modern S.E.O. optimised WordPress sites, I have set up a number of websites for small businesses.

I am certified with the Level 3 Award in Education and Training (RQF), formerly known as PTLLS . It is a nationally recognised qualification recognised by employers, and has proven useful in my roles with respect to being able to plan and deliver inclusive training sessions.
